General Call for Consultants in Governance

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) provides relief, rehabilitation and post-conflict reconstruction and development  to support victims of oppression and violent conflict around the world. Our programs are focused on achieving long term solutions for people affected by conflict.  The IRC is committed to a culture of bold leadership and innovation in all aspects of our work, creative partnerships and thorough accountability to those we serve.

The IRC’s Governance and Rights Technical Unit provides support to IRC programs working on human rights protection, rule of law, community and local governance, and civil society development.  

We are seeking CVs for specialists in local government, decentralization, community development and civil society strengthening for short and medium positions.   Applicants should have a minimum of five years field experience designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating programs.
